The Project

Our client approached us with a vision to upgrade several key outdoor areas of their property. The existing driveway lacked structure and kerb appeal, while the patio area needed a refresh to better suit modern outdoor living. Additionally, the swimming pool required a practical yet stylish surface solution to enhance both safety and aesthetics.

The goal was to create a cohesive, attractive, and functional exterior that complemented the property’s character and improved usability across the entire outdoor space.

Our Recommendation

After a detailed consultation and site survey, we proposed a multi-phase project that would transform the front and rear areas of the property.

We recommended installing a brand-new driveway with strong structural integrity and clean visual lines to improve both access and appearance. To frame the front garden and enhance security, we designed and built new brick walls that would blend seamlessly with the property’s façade.

In the back garden, we suggested a new patio area using durable, attractive paving to create a dedicated space for entertaining and relaxing. Around the swimming pool, a resin-bound surface was chosen for its slip resistance, smooth finish, and low maintenance—offering both safety and style in one.

The Installation

We began by preparing the front of the property, excavating the existing driveway and laying a solid sub-base before installing the new surface. The result was a smooth, level driveway that significantly improved the property’s curb appeal.

Next, we constructed new boundary walls at the front of the drive, using quality materials and expert brickwork to provide definition, durability, and visual appeal.

Moving to the rear of the property, we carefully excavated and prepared the patio area, laying the new paving with precision for a modern, neat finish. This area now serves as a perfect spot for outdoor dining and relaxing.

Finally, we installed a resin-bound surface around the pool area. This surface not only delivers excellent grip and safety underfoot but also enhances the aesthetic of the poolside with a clean and contemporary look.

The Result

The project delivered a complete exterior transformation. The new driveway and front walls provide a striking first impression and a practical parking solution. The rear patio creates a versatile space for family gatherings or quiet evenings outdoors. Meanwhile, the resin pool surround combines safety with great looks, tying the entire garden together.
